Keyboard Shelves:

Omnirax can add keyboard shelves to most any Broadcast furniture we make.

We use two basic mechanisms:

Fixed height adjustment: You set the height once and the keyboard simply and slides in and out.   The mechanism we use (generically known around here as the KMS3) has proven simple and rugged for more than 20 years. Slide length is 15″ with 10″ of travel, it features a hold-out and hold-in lock and three 1/2″³ height adjustments.

Fully Articulating:   This type features an arm with varying lengths of track. Lightweight and easy to operate, these arms have a 360 degree swivel and are fully retractable for storage below the work surface. A single knob adjusts both height and tilt simultaneously. To unlock and adjust the arm, simply turn adjustment knob counter-clockwise, find preferred position, and tighten to lock.

Mic Booms:

Yellowtec made a big splash in the US about 8 years ago when they debuted their mic booms.   A sleek, sexy look, with available On-Air Signaling – their booms offer unparalleled quiet operation.   That’s not all – they can mount directly to a work surface or to their TSS poles, so that you can get up to 4 booms on a single pole, or mount them in combination with their monitor arms.   Due to popular demand (including ours!), they are now offering a low profile boom with a customized design perfect for TV broadcasts.
