The Omnirax Furniture Company’s Contour Series of Ergonomically Superior Workstations combines the game-changing innovations we’ve brought to Radio Broadcast furniture and our WeDesk line of Office furniture with our years of expertise in the Technical furniture market.
The Adjustable Height Contour Series models are available in:
- Three sizes (5′, 6′ and 7′ wide)
- Multiple rack configurations
- A choice of finishes
They are supported by American Made Steel in a choice of finishes, and they have superior Bosch German motors and a 4-position programmable controller with numeric readout.
Contour is not a one-size-fits-all line. It is a range of products designed to create a work environment that fits you and your way of working. Contour brings your work closer, allowing you to wrap your work around you for an intimate and more efficient studio experience.
Adjustable Height Contour models are available in widths of approximately 5’, 6’ and 7’ (please refer to schematics on individual product pages for exact dimensions).
Our base configuration is 2-Rack Bays x 3-Rack Spaces per Bay. We can also build nearly any configuration you can imagine. Adding more rack spaces, making the larger CS6 and CS7 with additional rack bays or one-piece tops are not a problem – just ask one of our specialists who will be happy to assist you.
Rack bays are carefully positioned within easy reach and angled for neck-neutral sightlines, either sitting or standing. They are open in the rear for easy access to gear and wiring with cut-outs in the modesty panels to feed wires back to the wire trays beneath the desk.
Unlike other companies, Omnirax furniture has a “furniture feel”: upper racks are “framed” with solid laminate, and sleek, curved modesty panels conceal wire management that add to the finished professional look.
All Contour desktops are constructed of High Pressure Laminate over “Green” Particleboard cores trimmed with durable Tee-Molded edges.
Contour models are available in a selection of stock finishes. Other finishes are available upon request for an additional charge.
The Contour Series is shipped flat-packed, with specialized tools and simple, clear instructions included. Our CAD/CAM manufacturing process holds an incredible 0.005” tolerance so you’re sure to get precise fit and finish on your new studio furniture.

The Contour Series base price does not include shipping. We ship from our facility in Sausalito, CA. And while it may seem simpler to include shipping in the advertised price, we do not want to charge more than is necessary for those of you not on the East Coast – our farthest shipping point. That being said, when you add the cost of shipping, even for residential deliveries to the East Coast, to the Contour base price and also add in the price for any Options you may have ordered, Contour is still priced lower than comparable products from our competition.
The Contour Series is intended for those of you with a bit of rack-mount studio gear and a need for a good looking ergonomic workspace. Music Production, Audio-Video Editing, Game Development, and Dispatch are but a few of the possible applications. Keyboard players will find that the workspaces are generously sized to accommodate nearly all controllers on the market today. The Adjustable Height models give you the added advantage of being able to work sitting or standing—a choice, when exercised, that has been shown to improve health and productivity.
