WELCOME TO THE OMNIRAX BLOG
Transform Your Work Life with a Redesigned Office
Our desks are made for people who believe a workspace can improve their career. From offices with 20 to 50 employees to those running companies from their home office, we have what they need.
Omnirax’s design ethos is to always design for the client. Whether at home or in a large office, people deserve to experience Collaborative Ergonomics for a better work day. Even when working from home, a collaborative and productive space will help you get the most out of your desk.
Meet Mike Macedonio of Asentiv and BNI
Mike Macedonio is Co-Founder of Asentiv, formerly the Referral Institute, an international company training professionals on how to maximize referral marketing. He is also an Executive Director of BNI, the preeminent referral marketing organization that helps members grow their business through a professional program that enables them to develop meaningful, long-term relationships. Mike is passionate, hardworking, focused, and he knows what he wants.
Mike knew he needed to make a change with his home office, and as members of BNI ourselves, he reached out to us.
Because of Mike’s situation running a multinational business as well as a large BNI franchise from his home, we knew his redesigned home office would need to be highly efficient and a space where he could help his team reach their goals. This is where Omnirax jumped in. “I was fortunate to have them share their expertise,” Mike explained.
Mike’s new and improved workspace will help him become healthier, happier and more productive.
Developing the Plan for a Home Office Redesign
We believe in our client’s insights. After all, they’re the ones that are going to be using the product every day. Because of this, our design process is focused on collaboration. This process is how we treat every project, whether for a home or corporate office.
We’ll not only get you what you need, but also what you want at a price you can afford.
With Mike’s busy schedule it was essential that we made this a smooth process. In this case, Mike sent us his needs and wants, this before photo (below), and a floor plan complete with measurements.
From this, David, our VP of Design, created an initial design concept.
David chose the best-fitting products in both size and function from our line to share during a “go-to meeting” design session, in real time. During this call, David and Mike reviewed the initial designs and modified as needed until they found the perfect fit to help Mike’s workflow.
As you can see, this home office redesign helped create a space Mike would enjoy working in. He can be productive, enjoy an ergonomic workspace, and have a clutter-free room thanks to the storage hutch and cabinets.

The Home Office Furniture Solution
Based on the room’s size and layout, we chose the following pieces for Mike:
- MaxiMe Adjustable-height
- Custom CornerMe
- Storage Hutch
- 4-Bay Credenza
The MaxiMe, one of our MeDesk models, is height adjustable, so Mike can work sitting or standing at just the right height. We centered it in the room to create a visual focal point as well as providing easy access to the CornerMe, hutch, and credenza.
These pieces incorporate the accessories Mike uses each day as well. Our MeDesk series (as with all our models) can accommodate a keyboard/mouse tray, a variety of monitor mounts and is available in a wide range of color choices.
Everyone has their own ideal desk configuration, which is why we don’t believe in forcing people to work only one way. As we always say at Omnirax, we design work environments, not just desks. Working with Mike, we listened to his unique needs so we could create the best possible solution designed specifically for him.
Mike shares, “If someone is in the same position as I was, putting it off and not getting the space they need to enjoy their work, I highly recommend the Omnirax team.”
We enjoy any time we’re able to help another referral marketer, and Mike was a pleasure to work with. To start recreating your office just as we did for Mike, give us a call at (800) 332-3393.
